Released 28 October 2026
Nocode Atelier is a Windows agent that edits your CS2 server configs and plugin source, runs your build command and shows each action as a card. Version 2.9.22 needs no account.

CS2 mods for your own server are mostly plain text: .cfg files, notes and C# plugins in your project folder. Nocode Atelier edits those files with real tools while you read every diff. The game client stays untouched. The 4 jobs below run from a warmup config to a map rotation.
You run a 5v5 league night and want a 60 second warmup with 24 rounds. Nocode Atelier uses read_file to open your server.cfg and grep to list every mp_ line, then edit_file changes mp_warmuptime and mp_maxrounds. Ask first shows a diff with 2 changed lines, and you press Accept. You approve each edit. Copy the file to your server's cfg folder and test it locally. Read the diff first, then run your server launch script.
read_file cfg/server.cfg → 41 lines
grep "mp_" cfg/server.cfg → 9 matches
edit_file cfg/server.cfg → +2 -2
grep "warmup" logs/ → 2 matchesA plugin is a small C# program that runs only on your own dedicated server. You want a message that names the round MVP, so Nocode Atelier writes the source with write_file, then Shell runs your build command and reports the real exit code. If the code is not 0, you see the compiler output and a proposed fix. Copy the built plugin into the plugin folder yourself. That step is yours. Test it on a local server.
write_file src/RoundMessage.cs → +38
Shell your build command → exit 1
read_file src/RoundMessage.cs → 38 lines
edit_file src/RoundMessage.cs → +2 -1
Shell your build command → exit 0You build a map in Hammer, part of the CS2 Workshop Tools, and Nocode Atelier does not edit map files. It can read text you save, such as compile output. Ask it to grep your saved compile output for any lines that mention displacement, then use write_file to save a 1-page notes file that ranks the suspects. You check them in Hammer. Plan only keeps the agent from changing anything while it reads. Review the notes before you trust them.
A deathmatch night needs a map rotation you can read at a glance. Start in Plan only mode, and the agent lists the files it would create without writing anything. Then the task tool splits the work, so one sub-agent drafts the rotation file while write_file saves a 10 line notes page for players. Accept or reject each diff. Nothing reaches the server by itself. Test the rotation before you announce it.
Version 2.9.22 acts. A chat assistant suggests text and leaves the work to you, but Nocode Atelier runs each tool on your PC and shows the real result.
| Typical chat assistant | Nocode Atelier | |
|---|---|---|
| Files | Shows code for you to paste in. | Edits files in the working folder. |
| Commands | Suggests commands to type. | Runs them and reports the exit code. |
| Control | Replies with text only. | Ask first pauses before every change. |
| Prompts | Goes to its own service. | Goes only to the endpoint you pick. |
Server owners running a community server or a 5v5 league night come first. Their cfg folder holds dozens of mp_ and bot_ lines, and the agent searches every one of them with a single grep. You decide.
Hobby plugin authors writing counter strike 2 mods in C# come next. They build, read errors and rebuild, and Nocode Atelier runs the build command and reads the output with them as often as needed. Beginners are welcome.
Map makers who build levels in Hammer come last, with one limit. The agent cannot edit map files, but it writes the notes, rotation files and server configs that sit around them. Check each file.
CS2 mods are community-made changes to how a server or map plays, mostly plain-text .cfg files, C# server plugins and Workshop maps built in Hammer. Servers run plugins. Players' game clients never do.
Yes. This is the official Nocode Atelier website, and the download here is the original build. Compare its SHA-256 checksum with the published manifest, and use the Send feedback button inside the app if you need support.
No. CS2 server plugins are C# programs that a server owner installs on their own dedicated server, never on the game client of a player who joins. Nocode Atelier only edits plugin source and runs your build command.
No. It is a desktop app for Windows, but an agent rather than a config manager: it edits your .cfg files with tools, shows each diff and runs your build command.
No. Generated code can be wrong, so read the diff and test it on a local server before real players join. Ask first and Plan only keep each step in your hands.
Three places. A .cfg file goes into the server's cfg folder and runs on start or with exec, while a plugin is compiled with your build command and copied into the plugin folder. A map goes from Hammer to the Steam Workshop.
Three kinds: a cloud AI provider through an API endpoint, a model running locally on your PC, or the built-in model. Pick one. The Test button shows the response time and context window.
Start small. Version 2.9.22 runs on Windows 10 and 11, so open a test copy of your server folder with Ask first and read the first diff before you decide.
