When you press the download button, the site records the time, your IP address, your browser user agent and the referral source, if any. It uses this to count downloads, then redirects you to the installer.
The app runs locally and sends no telemetry. Chats, working folders and API keys stay on your PC. Prompts go only to the model endpoint you pick, and secrets in tool output are redacted before they reach the model. With a local model, nothing leaves the machine.
Web search can use the network, optionally over an anonymizing network. Control of chats from a phone browser uses one outbound connection and can be switched off. The app also checks for updates.
